ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

The Clear Channel Media sales team has 1 spot open for the next Integrated Media Marketing Idol.  You’ll be responsible for “friending” business owners in person and on-line. Use your social media skills to develop marketing programs your clients will “like”!  Meet their key business challenges and make money networking.  The Next Marketing Idol must be willing to negotiate business and achieve revenue goals, develop new advertisers and service existing clients.  This position develops an account list from various sources with the help of our internal social network.  Does this sound like you?   The Account Executive position puts you face to face with local business owners, to build relationships with, while creating customized integrated media solutions for their business.  You will learn how to create programs that integrate on-line marketing, on-air (radio), on-site event marketing and mobile media to create those turnkey programs for clients.  This commission-based position prefers candidates with previous experience in sales as a starting point, digital advertising, marketing or PR experience is extremely desirable as well. CLUSTER GENERAL SALES MANAGER and KNIX Brand Manager

Motivate, coach, develop and train a high performing team of Account Executives in a 8 station cluster selling structure • Establishes and reinforces standards of excellence for prospecting, proposal writing and customer service. • Take an active and leading role in business development. • Collaborates with Integrated Media Department to sell all assets of the cluster.  Hold AEs accountable to activity and pending expectations along with corresponding.   Take the lead as a Category Captain for at least one company directed category.  Work with Integrated Media Department and Promotions to create new revenue streams.  Be an authentic leader to create an atmosphere of a high performing team.   Five or more years of experience in media sales, integrated selling and sales management in radio and digital advertising. Music format experience desired and Country format experience a plus an understanding of strategic account management, radio ratings, broadcast media planning, digital execution.  Strategic management of inventory and rates. Work closely with the Program Director of assigned brand(s) to develop sales opportunities• Be an authentic leader to create an atmosphere of a high performing team .• Responsible for exceeding performance expectations for your AE team and cluster including market share for spot radio, event and digital media.  Five or more years of experience in integrated media sales, selling radio, digital and event marketing and advertising successfully.   • An understanding of strategic account management, radio ratings, broadcast media planning, digital execution. • Ability to forecast revenue. • Must be able to develop plans for revenue growth. • Must be able to work well with other departments to achieve success; must posses the ability to work independently and collaboratively with others, have excellent communication skills, flexibility and assertiveness to meet goals. • Requires demonstrated strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
